The lobby was clean and the staff super friendly. The room was new looking and clean. It was in the perfect location from the airport and to the cruise port. It’s next to a shopping mall that you can walk to.

Charging for shuttle is ridiculous

We have stayed here many times in the past and always enjoyed it. This time we were told upon our arrival at the hotel from the airport that we owed $20 for the shuttle ride. We had no idea it was no longer complimentary and found this ridiculous when we paid almost $400 for our night at the Hampton! We also discovered that if you were staying there and parking in the parking lot you were charged $11 a day. Upon our return to Ft. Lauderdale 10 days later we called the the shuttle at 7:04PM and arrived at the Hampton at 8:24! He picked up people throughout the airport going around numerous times then dropped people at the other Hampton before taking us to ours, even though our hotel was clearly closer. Again at a cost of $20. Needless to say the next morning we called for a taxi rather than take the shuttle. I understand cut rate hotels charging for their shuttle service but when you are paying premium prices for a Hampton I believe this is ridiculous. Sadly, this was our last stay there.

Happy overall

After reading all the negative comments on the shuttle we decided to skip the hassle and just took a taxi from the airport ($20.10 plus tip). We asked the driver to pick us up at 11 the next day to go to the port. We arrived just in time for warm chocolate chip cookies! Room 522 was clean, roomy, had a nice walk in shower and, aside from a noisy a/c that sounded like a washing machine running, was quiet. Loved the night light and ZERO toiletries. Breakfast was adequate and all staff throughout the hotel were welcoming. Aside from a very stubborn door (maintenance had to be called) and a non functioning telephone, we were happy with our stay.

Just don’t lie to me !

While we found this hotel clean & the room to be nice , we don’t like to be lied to …
Our travel agent checked with them before booking for us to see if there was a free airport shuttle to the hotel & also a free shuttle to the port. She was told yes !
Not true !!!!
We were charged both ways & as a result we will never give our business to them again !
Just don’t lie to me !!!!

Reality is not quite as advertised…

My Mother & I stayed 3/7/25 as we had an early flight from FLL. Just wanted to say the ACC room was nice & clean which I appreciated. However, the shuttle is $20 CASH per trip & I was never told that a head of time. Our 8a shuttle left closer to 8:20 because the driver felt it was ok to chat with another driver. I am also sure our drop was the last one for that van as it did not shift out of 2nd gear & started smoking while we were dropped at the airport.
The coffee was horrible… not sure how they can mess that up quite so bad.
FYI, UBER is significantly less.
