Qué perfecto!

What a wonderful, beautiful location, inn and restaurant! So the owner is a bit cool at first. He reminded me of many old New Englanders I have known. With a little effort, he warms up. He served us special dishes of mushrooms and of local wild greens only found at that time of year, and other, wonderful platos típicos. The accommodations were very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains surrounded by beautiful gardens with many places to sit and relax. Walk five minutes up a country road with hardly a car, and you come to a national forest preserve with miles and miles of trails and no people. And at night – a moonless night – we have never seen so many stars in ten years. Perfect!

A perfect getaway location!

My partner and I planned a last minute get out of Madrid trip for a few days and choose this region as we are familiar with some nearby towns and wanted some 'downtime', peace, sleep, rest, country walks and fresh air. We got all this and more in the village of San Esteban de la Valle!
Being over the Easter week we expected to pay a little more than we'd have liked. I would probably have been less critical if we'd come in the middle of January on a Monday night and paid 50% of what we paid but the price aside, the hotel was just what we needed. Stunning views across the valley, 1km outside the village, the rooms are motel-style with all door accessed from the exterior. Well maintained gardens, lush greenery & a pool in the summer months all add to the charm of the rustic interior lodging. I would say it's particularly perfect for couples. A car is essential to get here.

Cena calidad precio

Hemos ido a cenar y la verdad que todo un descubrimiento. Muy buena calidad precio y todo lo que comimos estaba muy elaborado. Sin duda volveremos. Croquetas de jamón muy elaboradas y rico arroz con leche. También pedimos rabo de todo y muy buena eleccion

CUIDADO, SON LADRONES

Compré 2 cupones a Groupon válido para dos habitaciones con desayuno en El Molino del Cubo. Hablé con la propietaria y reservé la fecha. Ella me exigió que le hiciese llegar los dos cupones de Groupon. Poco después me cancelaba la reserva por problemas suyos (alegó problems de inundaciones en el hotel). Lo volví a intentar poco después y me volvió a suceder lo mismo (esa vez problemas en un tejado por el viento). De nuevo cancelado. Cuando lo intenté por tercera vez, después del confinamiento, me dijo que ya había pasado mucho tiempo y que ya no era viable pues los cupones seguro que estaban caducados. Yo no podía dar crédito a esa actitud pero mi enfado fue aún mayor cuando vi en Groupon que mis dos cupones habían sido cobrados por El Molino del Cubo. Todo un ROBO y ellos unos DELINCUENTES

No llega ni a lo justo

La habitación faltaba mantenimiento y limpieza,....Poco o nada de simpatia por parte de los que trabajan allí.El desayuno buffet eso es mucho que decir al café,zumo envasado,alguna magdalena y tostadas,más el que te vigila por si te llevas una madalena,Lo unico bueno es el sitio que es precioso.
