1500 checkin but we were not given a room til after 1535. Hotel a "little tired". Dust on coffee table and desk tops. Bathroom clean but a little dingy. Great location if attenfing a show at Princess theatre. No free to air television channels
Not a 5 star as it is supposed to be rated.
We were given a room upgrade as the room was still not ready by the time they gave us the room.

The Windsor is a grand old hotel, with excellent service.
The staff genuinely look as though they want to work there.

Great location and obviously was a great hotel once. But now very dated and has not come into the 21st century. For example, the internet is terrible, drops out, slow and that was just for emails and newspapers. Would not be able to work online there.

Wonderful old style hotel, spacious beautiful room, crispy clean linens, breakfast room, huge, sunny, unbeatable location, polite really nice receptionist. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly and helpful. We arrived early but were able to check in to one of our room which was fantastic. The room was very clean. Delicious breakfast and great tea and coffee. Would love to return again.
