Five Minutes From a Costco, If That's Important to You

We had a good-sized 2-queen bed room. Lots of counter space and drawers and cubbies in the room. The Big Minus: the room is not well lit. No overhead lights. There was a desk lamp and 2 lights between the 2 beds, BUT they were not high enough to be good for reading in bed. There is plenty of room to the sides of the 2 beds for a standing lamp or even a small table with a lamp on it.
Breakfast? Inconsistent! On Day 1, I was looking for (1) English Muffins or bagels....non (just 3 kinds of bread) and (2) flavored creamer....none (coffee was terrible with 8 little cups of half-and-half in it. On Day 2, 2 kinds of bagels and a large container of French Vanilla Creamer.....good coffee. Like make up your minds!
A very sparse fitness center for a hotel of this size. And, you can't reach it from the inside of the hotel. That is, you must go outside, go around the pool to a small separate building that houses the fitness center. Strange set-up.

We like staying at Hampton Inn because of the large rooms and big beds. Breakfast is always good. On our first night there was recorded music coming from outside the room all night (from the pool area??). Not a fan of the music in the lobby either. We stayed 4 nights and the room was serviced only once.

It was good but only 1 small bar of
Soap for the week. I’d prefer a dispenser like the shampoo and conditioner was in. Frig was not plugged in and our food spoiled.

Terrible experience at Hampton Inn and Suites West Ashley

Awful hotel. Arrived and the lobby bathroom was flooded and when I mentioned to front desk they seemed annoyed.
The turn down service took all day to happen.
The staff was rude. When I asked for a 1 hr late check out on the third day they refused even though the hotel was not at all full.
Do not recommend this hotel AT ALL.
