Perfect Hotel

First time visiting this hotel and it did not disappoint perfect location for city centre cream tea was beautiful breakfast was delicious with choice of full English or a lighter breakfast of scrambled egg or poached egg on toast various cereal to choose from and fruit which was perfect Rooms are cosy and comfortable with tea coffee provided and water too
Staff are friendly and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble there is parking available which is perfect I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Really nice gem of a hotel, well located

Can't fault anything from where we first arrived to Alan on the front desk who can't do enough for you. Warm and welcoming and always asking if you need anything for your room as you leave. Then to come back to find what you needed was replaced and the room tided. What more can you ask. The rooms are cosy and the bathrooms spacious. Modernised and updated with sleek fittings and furniture, you can tell they have put a bit of money into keeping it fresh. We had a great time.

Big Thumbs Up From Us

Great place to stay in York. Really friendly staff, great room at the back of the house, nice beds, good roomy shower, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fabulous, set us up for the day. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the minster and the city centre. We will definitely be back again for a visit in the future.

Great stay in Georgian House York

Comfortable room in central York with great manager, lovely staff and delicious breakfast.
Very clean room with comfortable beds and nice bedding.
Good shower, fluffy towels and spotlessly clean bathroom.
Extra touch was a welcome small bottle of Prosecco in the room.
Great choice of breakfast - we had full English which was plentiful and delicious.
Despite being near a busy road we couldn't hear a thing and had a lovely quiet night's sleep.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
We will definitely return.

Friendly place to stay

Lovely and quaint little B&B, staff were lovely and friendly, food was wonderful. Bed was incredibly comfortable, complimentary bottle of bubbly was a nice surprise! Very accommodating, bathroom floor was a bit cold but other than that no complaints. Not far from the city centre, Sainsbury’s close by for essentials. Would definitely stay here again!
