Beautiful Boutique Hotel
We can definitely say that this Hotel is an amazing little treasure to behold. The Hotel is full of history and still has many of its original features which have been sympathetically restored and extended on hosting just 30 rooms.
We had a luxury room which featured 2 large beds, ample storage for clothing, a coffee machine and TV, fantastic double shower and marble bathroom. Robes & fluffy towels. Only negative we had was that the lighting in the room was a little dark especially in the bathroom when trying to apply makeup.
The buffet breakfast every morning was adequate with choices for taste. Only negative would be that each day we were there, there was a lack of cooked bacon.
The staff at the Hotel are extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to the ladies at breakfast A special shout goes out to Daniel who obviously really enjoys his job and is so knowledgeable about the building and its history.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect as it’s central to all the sites and the shopping and all the fantastic restaurants.
All in all we would definitely recommend staying at this hotel 100%.

Great location, perfect service
Location:
You don't have a view in the hotel. But that's not bad, because the hotel has an exceptionally good location in the city center. The historical sights are almost all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance (Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio etc.). The train station is also within walking distance. Thanks to the great organization of the reception, you can hardly wait more than 2 minutes for a taxi.
Service:
The team was extremely attentive both times and used all the levers to fulfill our wishes. The service is fast, reliable and courteous. A big thank you to Daniele, Nami, Riccardo, Khaled and everyone else whose names we could not find out. Most employees (of all levels) are even multilingual.
Rooms:
The rooms are spacious and were clean upon our arrival. We rented a tower room both times. These are handsomely decorated and have an exciting layout. We greatly appreciated that the room was made twice a day. So even after a short afternoon nap you came back to a made room in the evening.
When the window is closed, you can hardly hear the party noise on the streets, if at all.
Breakfast:
The breakfast was always rich (Continental Breakfast). You can put together a smoothie and have it made in the kitchen if necessary.
Here, too, the brigade works very flexibly and even remembers the guests' preferences for the following day.
Conclusion:
A lovely hotel with an incredibly motivated team in the centre of Florence. In the low season we enjoyed a comparatively cheap stay for a 5-star luxury hotel. We recommend the hotel without reservations and look forward to the next visit!

Fantastic stay!
Reception service was impeccable all along- thanks to Daniele and all his teammates. Brilliant hotel service overall. Breakfast saloon a bit small, but always with a nice selection- if you cannot find what you wish just ask for it and you will be served promptly. We had a very elegant room (with hand-painted ceiling) in one of the towers, immaculately clean (you will even find a small/ sweet surprise on the bed every day!); marbled bathroom (always shining); heating working perfectly (as the nights were rather cold!); all the other usual things (e.g., TV, wifi, minibar, coffee machine, etc.) in perfect order. Very quiet (thanks to its original, thick stone walls, presumably). No time to try the spa this time- maybe next time…Not to forget another pleasant surprise- a nice red rose plus chocolate to the ladies at Valentine’s!
I have to say, we’ve stayed in quite a few 5* hotels across the world- but the overall service and welcoming attitude was special here!
Otherwise, excellent location, with some very good restaurants, trattorias, bars nearby for a nice evening out- just ask the reception…
We are already looking forward to coming back. Once again, thanks to all the team there- well done!
