Recovery

Great room, a small but modern swimming pool. A small but good breakfast buffet for everyone
Egg dishes are prepared fresh for you.
We were just unlucky with the hair dryer which went out again and again after a minute. But then received small travel hairdryers at the reception.
So we are very excited and will definitely come back.

Great Rooms and spacious

Rooms were great and clean. Very spacious. Breakfast was not that great it looked like a mass catering affair. The filter coffee was weak. I think there is plenty of room for improvement in this area. I also think the breakfast is overpriced for what you get.

Lovely and comfortable country hotel

We drove to Regensburg for a weekend break, enjoying nearby Kaiser Thermal Baths (Bad Abbach) on the way. The hotel was a perfect choice: in the serene countryside and still near the City, with ample parking space, a beergarden, a big restaurant, and sauna/swiming pool. Renovation work in parts of the hotel is on-going, but our Triple-room/Suite looked newly renovated - spacious with cabinets; 3 right-sized/comfortable beds; a lounge set; 2 dressers, one with a big mirror, and the other with a TV on the wall (many channels + Sky) and mini-bar under; and the Toilet/Bath was complete with a roomy shower-cabin. WiFi is free and strong, and the Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, with sausages, salami and the like from the Hotel's own butcher shop. And the Hotel passed my "special" test for 4/5 star hotels - Champagne/Sekt/Sparkling-Wine was available to match the smoked salmon.

It's probably lovely in mild weather, but we were there during a heatwave and our non-air-conditioned room faced west: in consequence, it was unbearably hot and didn't even cool down during the night. Unfortunately, the lounge area wasn't very comfortable, the indoor pool was unappealing, and the only outdoor space was the bar/restaurant area, where we were constantly interrupted by staff wanting to serve us food and drink.
