Nice guesthouse close to Soomaa national park

It is a really well located guesthouse, in the village of Jõesuu if your aim is to visit Soomaa national park. Rooms are clean and one can sleep as a baby. Hostess Anna cooks very deliciou meals. Ask omlett for a breakfast!

The worst experience ever!

Unbelievable attitude! Came with a little child. Found out the house doesn't offer dinner (if there's not enough customers) and they don't allow to bring your own food! Even grapes were not accepted - will ruin the house!? And there's no advance notice about the weird policy! Sorry, no more!

room under roof, small old beds, shower wets all shower room, have to pay for even the welcome coffee, noise from other guests when sitting on balcony. nervous hosts chitchat german/english. dinner is only possible when there are more guests

Home from home

Anna and Viktor are a lovely middleaged couple who took the plunge and are Living The Dream - they left the city and built a dream house in the countryside, with gardens and sauna and river and rooms and food to share. All these things are lovely and so are they. I was concerned about getting here from Parnu, and to (relatively nearby, but not walking distance) Soomaa national park, without private transport/car, but it's quite doable, thanks to their helpfulness: Anna gave me bus times from Parnu, and a lift to the park to do a looped walk (I hitched a lift back). They also work closely with Wilderness Experiences, who organise tours - including night time canoe safaris - in the national park. The food was fantastic, good honest home cooking, much of it from the lovingly tended garden. Swimming in the river just below the house was a big plus too. Really very pleasant, and very restful. Highly recommended!

Tolle Gastgeber, tolle Lage, tolles Essen

Wunderbar am Fluss und gleich neben dem Soomaa Nationalpark gelegen (Kanufahrten und Moorwanderungen mit Moorschuhen sind empfohlen), riesige Gastfreundschaft und z.B. super leckeres Frühstück samt Sonderwünschen (bestes Omelett :)).
