Quiet with great view!

The property itself can be difficult to find as there is not adequate signage for such a large property. The complex itself is quite beautiful and offers amazing views. If you are hoping for air-conditioning, this is not the summer retreat for you. The rooms themselves can get very hot. The reception staff is very friendly and organized however, the customer service as it relates to food and beverage service as poor (even by Ukraine standards).

Price and quality

Price and quality have good correlation.
Nice and big rooms, good location, plenty of Things to do. Minus for that they keep a Brown bear captured in a Cage. This animal did not seem to be well.
The area Kosiv are Nice, and a visit to the local market will pay off.

Huge room, odd place.

Bayka is a quiet family resort in the mountains. For English speakers like my friend and I, it was a little difficult to ask questions about the property since only one waiter there spoke English at all. My room was a suite. It had a couch, a large bed, and a balcony. It was comfortable, if a little empty. I slept quite well. Downstairs was the bar and restaurant. I missed dinner but had an ok breakfast. I did order a drink to listen to the great live traditional music that was playing outside in the evening.
Investigating the amenities, we were turned away from the indoor pool as it was women's only time. There was a sauna, but the plunge pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, so we stayed away. Oddly, there is a huge black bear in a cage next to the pool building. It was quite entertaining watching it play with a log, but we wished they had given it more room!

Beautiful place in the woods

They have very nice wooden cottages in the woods, it is great to wake up to a beautiful view on the Carpathians. The heating is super efficient (it was even too hot but you don't complain about that after freezig for the whole day) and there is wifi. I did not like the dinner and the breakfast though, they were very weird.
