Great location but didn’t live up to the expectations

I did wonder if I had stayed in a different hotel to some of the reviewers. The positives, the room was lovely in that the bed was great and combination of pillows. Being able to control the temperature was great.
Some of the decor was dated and could have done with a clean or repair.
Location was great and in walking distance of many sights.
The hotel seemed a bit impersonal. There was very little interaction with the staff when we came into the hotel or the bar staff. Not saying that we weren’t served but they seemed more focused on cleaning up and it was only 11pm.
Breakfast however was dire. I usually enjoy my breakfast when staying in a hotel. It is not a buffet and everything made to order but the restaurant was practically empty and we still had got wait 30 minutes before we got served anything. The waitress was very apologetic but they definitely have some issues they need to address. Since it was mid week it would have been problematic if needing to get to a business meeting.

I cannot rate this hotel enough.
It is in a perfect location, a five-minute walk from Covent Garden.
The room is larger than most hotels in central London (and spotlessly clean). It provides ample space for luggage and clothes, and our room even had a chaise longue.
What makes this hotel unique is the top-standard service. All staff members —cleaners, bar and restaurant staff, reception, concierge, and maintenance—were excellent. Polite, and accommodating.
The breakfast is à la carte and fantastic. There are many hot and cold options. My husband is vegetarian, and there were a number of plant-based items for him to choose from.
Over the years, we have stayed in many hotels in London for work and leisure, of varying stars and prices. This hotel is by far the best value for money.

Marie France

We had a wonderful experience at breakfast. Marie France, who served us, was exceptionally friendly, efficient, and took the time to speak with us personally. We also appreciated that breakfast was served upon request rather than as a buffet, which made the experience feel more personal and enjoyable, and helped reduce waste.

We recently stayed here for two nights for my wife's birthday. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic.
You are greeted with a stunning reception area, which is tastefully decorated and oozes class.
The reception staff were very welcoming and even provided us with a room upgrade for the special occasion.
The room was lovely, very clean and with all the amenities you would expect - very good soundproofing (we never heard any other guests) and the blackout curtains were excellent.
The control for the lights took a little getting used to but was quite intuitive once you got the hang of it.
The only issue we had was with the shower head leaking, however we reported this to reception and it was fixed by the time we returned later that day!
The hotel is in a perfect location - a two minute walk from the nearest tube station and only 8 minutes walk from Covent Garden!
We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.
