Enjoyable stay

Spartan room, but complete with everything on the first floor of a building located along a road principale.Locale clean, with a capacious bathroom, soundproofed with fixtures nuovissimi.Vicinanza to means of transport, shops, bars and restaurants.Oltre the parking space I have to give a ten to the Owner for having recovered an antique floor with a design bello.Il Mr. Antonio always available with advice revealed Optimum.No breakfast, because we prefer to go to the bar and taste local products.

Poor

We stayed this summer with friends in this B&B, in adjoining rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms was approximate, that is, the only garbage bag was changed, the bed was made very quickly and the cleanliness of the room was non-existent, as strands of hair had been there for days, the glass in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for months. We had a problem with the freezer of the very small fridge, we were told by Antonio who was the owner of the b&b that he couldn't do anything about it. ABSURD.
The only positive thing was the breakfast at the bar opposite

4 relaxing nights!!!

Excellent from almost all points of view, perfect and very central location with all services, very private, clean and welcoming rooms, possibility of parking (very useful especially in the rain), punctual and reliable manager - courteous and helpful - A ticket from visit to always keep at hand!

Ok I guess

We originally booked Salerno due to its close proximity to other cities such as Naples, Pompei, etc and the beach.
We found this place and contacted the host about bringing our car and cat and it was fine. When we arrived we where presently surprised with the location at first. Provided you stay on the main road everything is fine, but as soon as you go wondering to the side streets it’s not so pretty - full of lots of rubbish and this includes the local beaches.
Anyways, back to the place. When we arrived we where the third car and though great it parked. We got our keys and went to our room. While it was clean, it could do with a deeper clean - in particular the shower which has yellow scum around the edges of the shower cubical.
The next day we where greeted by the host who asked if we needed the car and we didn’t think we would. So we gave the host our keys which sat at the desk for anyone to take for the next 5 days - this should have been locked up and out of sight and not for everyone to see. When we got back our car was blocked in, so no way of getting the car out for a spontaneous adventure. This resulted in us having to navigate the bus and metros on many occasions at night as there was no way of getting the car out.
Although this place accepts animals, the cleaner has no experience of cleaning the room with cats and the only time it would be cleaned was if we where there to deal with the cat (all other hotels etc that we stayed with before haven’t had this problem).
The city center of Salerno is a good bit away only assessable by car (which we didn’t have access to) or by bus - so you have to factor the cost of tickets in before booking here.

Convenient, friendly, clean and value for money

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and well fitted out. The buses stopped outside Via Trento 30 to take you into the old city or the port. Breakfast was basic but good - personalised service was a plus. Safe, secure parking on site was great. Advice and tips from the staff were helpful. I previously stayed in Salerno at a hotel that cost twice the tariff as Via Trento 30 and this was better value and a far better room. I would stay here again.
