Great great location, great host
The host was very welcoming and knowledgable about Salerno. He gave us a map and told us what was where and what there was to see/do. He also owns a restaurant a few blocks away and gives a discount to his guest when you eat there.
The room was large and bright, with direct access to a private patio. There was lots of storage in the room and a safe. There is a communal fridge in the common area. The bathroom was a little small but was updated and had everything you needed.
This B&B is in a great location, less than a 10 min. walk to the train station and the port. It is also just one block up from the pedestrian mall and a couple of blocks to the old section. There is also a self serve laundromat less than a 1 min. walk away. The local buses are a few steps away. And tons of restaurants are just minutes away. There is also an elevator!

We didn't really like the breakfast as it was all bread and pastry and everything was wrapped (the host explained it was the law but we didn't really understand). There was however plenty of it and you could grab something during the day if you wanted.
Although it was great to have the direct access to the patio, it would have been even better if the screen was not broken (maybe it's a North American thing - ALL our windows and doors have screens).
Would go back and highly recommend. Great stay!

Cosy room in the basement
In the basement of a time-honoured residential building with a heavy door and an elevator that seemed to date back to the founding era, is the B&B, consisting of a central breakfast room from which several rooms lead off.
Our room was very cozy and had besides a comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom also a small terrace, which was limited by the floor but all around.
With the exception of the terrace, everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable.
For breakfast we were alone and were eaten with coffee and packaged baked goods in sufficient quantity.
While we were admitted in person for check-in the day before, the Check-out was without staff, but this was not problematic for us.
From the B&B we had another 10 minutes walk to the station and could look back on a relaxing overnight stay and a positive experience.

Wow
There were only 2 in-suite bedrooms in this B&B so it felt like being at home :)
The bedroom was spacious, bright and tastefully decorated. Our lovely comfortable bed had an orthopedic mattress and pillows, pure bliss!
Spotless modern bathroom and large fluffy towels.
Separate AC unit in every bedroom and a common room.
Strong Internet signal.
Fully equipped kitchenette.
Washing machine, iron and ironing board. Very handy if one buys lots of excellent quality Italian linen clothes... so comfortable to wear at summer... so reasonably priced.
Luscious private terrace, green, peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place for a glass or two of Prosecco before going out for dinner.
Great location, literally one minute walk to the grocery store. Restaurants, shops and the sea are within easy walking distance.
The owners take pride in their property and it definitely shows. We felt safe and welcomed our entire stay and definitely coming back.
