Perfect honeymoon
Minori itself is different from other towns on Amalfi Coast, it is smaller, authentic, charming, not so touristy and the prices are also lower.
Our accomodation was perfect for us, it is situated on the hill and you can use the transfer to get to the beach or the steps going to the heart of the old town.
We always use the steps, was a good workout.
Breakfast was amazing and Antonio - the owner was always willing to help.
We definitely want to come back to Amalfi and we will choose Antonio´s house again.

My advice is to stay away from this property!!!
Let me first start with saying that we loved Minori and Amalfi Coast. Our vacation would have been wonderful if not one fact that spoiled our entire holiday.
We still cannot understand why the owner of Villa Aceto did this to us. The day before our departure we were getting ready to go to the beach when Antonio, the owner of the Villa Aceto, arrived. He informed us that he wouldn’t be able to come next day in the morning to do the check-out for us.
Hearing that we asked him to check the house to make sure that everything was OK since we were leaving for the beach for the entire afternoon. He took time to check every room and I was with him all that time. He said that everything was OK and that the deposit would be returned the next day by his cleaning lady.
After he left and we locked the doors and left for the beach for the rest of the day. To our surprise the next day the deposit would not be returned. Why? Apparently there was a vase broken in the house so the owner said he was keeping the deposit for the damage. The cleaning lady showed us the vase which was in pieces. We phoned Antonio but he said that he had to keep the deposit for the broken vase. Unfortunately we had to leave the house as we had to catch the plane the same day from Naples.
We obviously informed the company (that we made the villa booking through) about what happened. Now, here is the most interesting part of the story: Antonio responded to our complain by saying that when we left for the beach he went back to the house, saw the broken vase, took the pictures and now he has the proof of the broken piece. My question is: what was he looking for in the house during our absence especially when he just checked the house the same day in the morning and said that everything was fine? Also, that vase was standing in the corner of the room by the table that we never used.
Except of a couple of minor things we cannot say anything bad about the villa or its location. The garden was great, the terrace was beautiful. There is no free parking if you have a car. You will pay a discounted fee but you would still have to pay. If you leave your car overnight without the payment you will have to pay a hefty fine. The police comes every day to check on the cars parked along Via Palomba.
My advice would be to stay away from this villa and its owner! The property is advertised on different websites under two different names: Villa Aceto or Free Holiday.

essere furbi nella vita non serve voi mi avete fatto un danno di oltre 500 euro e non avete avuto nemmeno il coraggio di dirlo alla signora delle pulizie "VERGOGNATEVI"

Beware of the deposit scam!!!
The villa was quite nice and we were planning on returning there the next year. We always rent apartments/houses for our vacation in Europe but we never had bad experience with dishonest owner before.
