Young couple visiting family in Italy
After two days a reminder from booking.com stated I had not received a reply from the owners so recommended contacting them directly.
I got my sister in Italy to do so and was told a late arrival was fine.
We arrived at 6.30pm with no one around so rang the owner, eventually getting through via a text.
After a short while waiting in our hire car outside we were eventually let in by the owner and her granddaughter who spoke a little English, but we managed to get by with a little help from google translate.
The clenlines of this BnB is portrayed well on its website photos. Bright, airy and fresh. We couldn't fault it.
Our only gripe was the lack of air conditioning, but being it was mid April and only slightly warm it wasn't an issue, had we stayed mid summer we would have suffered for sure.
The four rooms (named after the four seasons) had only two separate toilet/bathrooms between them although this is stated on the website so was expected. We seemed to be the only people staying at the time so didn't feel as if we had to creep around or worry too much about the shared bathroom.
With four full rooms you would certainly make friends quite easily.
Breakfast offered up two options, either in the open kitchen area or with vouchers to take to a bar down the road.
Day one we opted to stay in and was served croissants, coffee, melba toast, some pastries that resembled mince pie and a large orange juice.
Day two we opted for the vouchers and had coffee and croissant at the nearby quite bustling very typical italian bar.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it but be wary of the lack of air conditioning should you visit peak summer time.
To the owners all I would advise would be to improve your correspondence with future guests.
