terrible, dirty, fire alarm switch on with out reason during night, bad kitchen orribile position. Appartment has not a place to place stuff in bathroom, a lot of stuff for cooking were not usable because, dirty with spiders inside… last but not least it’s really expensive… never more

Great location, apartment not so good

The good: Great location, as it’s a short walk to the main restaurants and to the boatyard.
The bad: Low quality linen and mould windows as there was plenty of condensation. No blackout blinds so the room is not dark to sleep
The best: Shower was amazing, the highlight of the place.
Overall: room ok, but I wouldn’t stay again though

Not more than an unfriendly rip-off.

Zero service! We travelled together with our 14 months old baby, means that we were reliant on a babybed. Though we had booked the apartment with a babybed, there was no babybed there, when we arrived in the evening. After our complaints, they brought a broken and unusable babybed. We needed to find another accomodation very short-termed to put the tired baby to bed. The owner of Skyaborg apartments charged the full price on our credit cards the day after, he ignored our repeated mails and complaints.
Altogether a very bad experience, no focus on service, but very unfriendly and ignorant.
Besides, the apartment is located directly at the main street and surrounded by commercial buildings.

overpriced/ poor cleanliness

Iceland is expensive. we all know that. accom is expensive always. But when you arrive to a 380 $AUD per night apartment that has rubbish still in the bins/ gunk in the fridge/ crumbs on the bench and couch/ and the one pan to cook with has enough loose teflon to make you wonder whether you want steak with your teflon or teflon with your steak!!...and the bedroom has curtains that don't cover the windows (remember it is middle of summer).... it really doesnt equate to value at the price. On the good side...the shower is excellent, and the space is great. .... so... stay here if you must but dont if you dont really need to!

Good place to stop off for a night

Höfn is a lovely place. The views by the water are fabulous looking at the mountains and glaciers in the distance. There are walks, a supermarket and an off licence. The apartment is fine for an overnight stay. 1 bedroom for the kids and the other bed is in the lounge/kitchen area. Basic cooking facilities (hot plate and microwave - no oven). Clean and reasonable well equipped. You can see the mountains from the apartment but you are next to factories and some discarded rusting tractors.
