Loved this place!

We checked into this hotel after problems with our air bnb host.
This hotel is centrally located. So close to parque central. We slept really well here! Kitchen is large and sunny! Terrace is great! Lots of natural light! Lots of plants. Loved the colors in the room. Really helpful staff. Would stay here again!

By the way it's fine

the young man who welcomed me kindly. But I really found the hotel lacking. Uncomfortable beds, not very pleasant room. Bathroom that seemed dirty to me. It is located well, a couple of blocks from the main square, but at night I found the street unsafe. For one night it was acceptable, but I certainly wouldn't go back.

Clean, spacious, central

I reserved a room with one double bed but ended up getting a GIANT room with three beds in it! The room was very clean. The bedsheets were adorably mismatched, not like a standard hotel at all. I liked it! It made it feel homier. The lobby was so stuffed full of plants it felt like a jungle!
The hotel is centrally located, only two short blocks from the park. The road is very narrow and one-way. There is no parking. You'd have to park at an off-site place and pay extra.

Cleanliness does not seem to be a priority

Upon check in, it appeared as though our room had never been cleaned. The bathroom was still dirty from the previous occupants (we had the entire room booked for ourselves so there was no excuse of rotating guests for this) and the sheets on the beds looked as though they had not been washed as we found hairs in a number of the beds. I will not be back.

Solid 3.4 star

This place is good and not so good. The rooms are huge!! Definite plus. The price is definitely reasonable for the size and the location close to the park. Towels were decent, soap and shampoo included. They had potable water available to refill bottles
Beds were very springy and bouncy, and the pillows we like lead bricks. Neither set of sheets fit the bed- one was way too big and one was too small and slipped off in the night. Very annoying.
Our bathroom was gross when we checked in. This was a private room with en suite, and there was so much hair laying on the shower drain it backed up and had 3 inches of standing water - the first time we showered. I absolutely loathe standing in dirty water, especially from someone else's hair! The toilet was dirty in the bowl, and there was what looked like drips of pee all over the lid. We complained and they cleaned the shower but left the pee on the toilet. Lovely. They also had the death trap shower head water heaters, because showering is always more exciting with the possibility of electrocution.
The two guys working the front desk were only so so. I speak Spanish, and if people will slow down a little I do fairly well understanding. I asked both clerks repeatedly to slow down and speak louder, and they would not do either. I finally made them both start translating on their phones. I try very hard to speak and work with people in their own language, and expect them to do the same. If you're not going to even try, well, me either.
Overall, decent value and good size rooms but not the Ritz, it even the holiday inn.
