An exceptional hotel and an exceptional wedding!... Thank you for hosting ours!
We got married end of October 2024. Everything in everyway was above our expections. We didn't have a wedding planner, as we wanted to keep costs to a minimum, George was our wedding planner and made everything so simple and easy. We really valued his openess and honesty from the beginning.
It's not just George, we want to thank, but the rest of his superb team at Creta Blue. Each one of them provide a personal and brilliant service every single day. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but it's these incredible people, that make this place head and shoulders above others.
We had the most amazing wedding. It was everything and more. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly. I'm so glad our guests were able to sample the Creta Blue experience. We'll be back in 2025 and will continue to return for many more years. Creta Blue has a special place our hearts. Thank you for everything.

Fab and friendly resort.
Also my husband is coeliac, but the really great breakfast they served - no problem for gluten free food, and at the restaurant too.
Would definitely come again, it was a lovely place to start out time in Crete.

Thank you so much for visiting our small boutique hotel this summer once again. It is true that we have many guests who return multiple times in our hotel and together with the guests who come for the first time they create a very nice atmosphere around the hotel.

Lovely stay at Creta Blue
We stayed at one of the suites with a semi-private pool i.e. shared by 4 suites only.
Both the pool and the suite were immaculately clean and kept that way all week.
We had dinner at the Blue Moon restaurant on a number of occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Special mention to Lavinia for her hospitality, guidance and help.
Breakfast was great, not your typical English fry up but a nice choice including eggs of all varieties and refreshing fruit options with Greek Yoghurt etc. Again a special mention to Lavinia and also Sofia.
Koutouloufari is a short walk downhill which has plenty of places to eat and drink and we found the local people to be charming. What seemed a longer walk back to the hotel uphill, but not really a problem as not too steep and only 10 minutes.
We had a very relaxing time and will return next year albeit for a bit longer.

Exceptional Hotel
It is apparent from many details that this hotel is run with the aim of creating a very special place for its guests.
The family has demonstrated an eye for beauty in the architecture of the entire apartment complex. The furnishings and interior are not opulent and ostentatious, but stylishly modern and relaxed.
The apartments, restaurant and infinity pool offer fantastic sea views. The restaurant's cuisine is outstanding, and the restaurant reviews speak for themselves. Just search for ‘Blue Moon’.
The hotel thrives from the people who work there. Starting with the owner (George), who runs the hotel with heart, passion, style and high quality standards. Since our first visit in 2016, the core team is fantastic and has remained almost unchanged. The team members treat each other warm-heartedly and amicably. This positive mood in the team is also felt by the guests.
The hotel has about 35 apartments, so it is rather small, which we appreciate very much. The hotel is aimed more at adults and is suitable for a romantic holiday. But we have also been coming here with our five-year-old daughter since she turned one, and she loves this hotel. The entire team is children-friendly and very warm with the little ones. When we came back to the hotel this year, our five-year-old daughter asked about George, Lavinia, Sofia, Costa, Star and Co. before we even arrived. She had remembered their names.
Koutouloufari, a five-minute walk away, is a village with a high number of very good restaurants. There are also a few real gems of shops with beautiful craftsmanship – not only the touristy stuff you find everywhere else.

It is not easy to "hide" from people who have been with us many times as they can really understand what is going on through the members of our team but also they can see al the changes that have been made the last 5 years in our hotel. Really looking forward seeing you again next year:)
