Restaurant and grounds were very nice. Food was excellent. My room needed some repairs and paint - and better lighting. Overall good value. I’d stay.again.

Better to avoid it

Hotel all to redo. The interiors of the rooms are dirty it seems that no one cleans us the bathroom was in a shameful and dirty condition, I opened the sink tap and the drain ended up on my feet , in several nights the room was redone only once when I arrived in the room 3 out of 3 bulbs were burned missing exterior windows or curtains to take out sunlight in the morning of 2 floors of hotel there is no elevator and has high steps and narrow stairs. The room overlooking a chicken coop that looks like a dump There is no night surveillance. The poor breakfast where it is offered in DIY with hot water , sachets of freeze dried milk powder or instant coffee to add to it. The tablecloths are not changed....... the only positive note is the reception which is present during the day and are very helpful. A hotel to avoid. I'm sorry to speak ill of it as it is run by an Italian.

Receptionists are very approachable and accomodating. Food is the best! If you’re looking gor legit italian food I recommend this place. I think for the rooms it has a little to improve. Like for the cleaning changing of rugs and towels everyday.

The dive shop is excellent. They are very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you like personalized service you will love Vanilla sky Dive shop.
The restaurant is good, a little expensive, but good food. The pizza is great.
The hotel is just ok, it could be much better with better bedding. There is only 1 top sheet, I kept having to turn off the air conditioning because it was cold, then back on because it would get too hot. A blanket or comfortor would make a huge difference.
It is a great location, just off the main road but a 5 minute walk to everything.

It was a very good choice, not too far and not too near Alona beach. Nice, clean pool and accommodating staff. Timing that there was power shortage for several hours. But a generator was provided to charge cp and small gadgets. No aircon but they provided electric fans. Will surely comeback to Bohol and still choose Vanilla Sky.
