Great place for families

This is a great family resort and we will definitely be visiting again soon! We especially liked the proximity to Avila Beach via the Bob Jones Trail. We rode our bikes and had a wonderful time visiting the local shops. Hope to schedule a few days before the end of the year.

Amazing stay! Will definitely be back!

My friend booked two RV sites for us
I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating.
All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

Best KOA in California.

We stayed at this KOA every year for the past 7 years. It is an excellent facility and have never found the staff and facilities to be less than top notch. I read most of the negative reviews and they, no doubt, were the comments from prima donnas who expect special privileges.

Great staff

They have upgraded almost everything and the staff is wonderful. I got a lot of special help from Jeff. He went out of his way to accommodate my needs. Thanks, Jeff for your hard work and pool cleaning. Your doing a GREAT job.

Excellent RV park

The Avila/Pismo Beach KOA is one of the best RV parks we have stayed in. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is great and the facilities are excellent. The site is very well maintained and generally looked after really well. Both Avila and Pismo beach are a short drive away (Avila Beach is around a 3 mile walk which seemed like a long way when doing it with small children, but is quite a pleasant walk). The sites are fairly close together but didn’t really feel like they were. There is noise from the nearby road which is noticeable during the day, but not so much so during the night. The facilities are excellent. The pool and hot tub are a good size and very clean and the the children’s play area is great. Overall, a very nice park to stay at.
