A Hotel with a Beautiful Garden

The hotel's chinese garden is very nice and neat. This is a beautiful hotel, vast, grand and artistic. Room and bathroom are a bit old-fashioned but clean and no smell of smoke. Breakfast is excellent for an elderly person like us. So much choices and taste like home. The heated 1.2m swimming pool can be crowded during the day. The changing room and the jacuzzi are very good. The hotel is near a subway station which lead us to Daxing Intl airport without suffering the heavy unmoving traffics. This hotel is just 8.5km to the Summer Palace but it is closed every Monday.

A must try hotel in Beijing

That was a wonderful stay here. People was so nice and helpful. Big thank to Restaurant team. We enjoyed very fresh and tasty cuisine. The location is in centre. I must - try hotel when you visit Beijing. I was given very cute gift during checking out.

Beijing Shangri-La is getting better.

Beijing Shangri-La, getting better and better, was very quick and accurate on the issue, without any prevarication or delay. Especially afternoon tea, of course breakfast is still very rich, very good, in terms of service, as soon as I heard that the 16th floor suite feels cold at night, there was a maintenance master immediately to check, feeling bad, and switched to the higher floors 17th floor, the same suite, and discount the room, especially the two floors of service staff without complaint service, people feel doubly affectionate, such as going home, let people haunt, the 12th floor business area of the new loft afternoon tea, surname Cheng, surnamed Bai service staff, business afternoon tea service is very good, children's braces after eating when trashed, two people finally looked around, not afraid of dirty and tired without complaint, the family is very grateful and give special praise, and hope to continue to do the best Beijing Shangri-La in our hearts.

First class customer service. All staffs speak some English. Communication is smooth and simple. If you're first timer to Beijing, this is the place to stay .

Shangri-La Beijing, it has been a while. You didnt disappoint!

When we arrived at the hotel, Ms Zoe of the GRO dept was already waiting for us. She invited us to the club lounge while we were checking in our rooms. There we were greeted by Ms Queenie and Ms Lynn, the manager who took the initiative to invite us for breakfast.
Throughout our stay, Ms Phyllis the assistant manager and the rest of the team, like Hugo, Cary, Alexander, Annais, Eve, Aili, Alex, Leon, Celia, Chloe, Yumi, Alice, Lily, Grace, Freda and Kenneth took such good care of us that my family commented that it was one of the best Shangri-Las we have stayed in and that is an extremely high compliment. I was also surprised to know many of them were just interns, because they were efficient and yet the heart to serve guests well was evident.
The food in the lounge was also fantastic, Zhang Lei and Yang Shuai did a very good job. The concierge and door man Chris and his other colleague, I couldnt remember his name, big and tall standing at the entrance of 景閣 were also very helpful.
It was also nice of Ryan to pop by and say hi. Thank you Shangri-La Beijing for making our stay a memorable one!
