Great stay in Banff

Banff Inn has everything you need for a few days stay. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the main strip of Banff Ave which is what my boyfriend and I preferred. The hotel is on bus routes and it seems like there are ski shuttle pickups close by (we did not use so I can’t comment). The room had a nice view and was very quiet and clean. The only negatives were the hotel hallways were quite dark and there was no ice machine/water fountain.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well appointed. We had a corner room upstairs, so no noise from neighboring rooms - that was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that they had no place inside for breakfast. There was a small pizza place off the lobby, but you had to walk a couple doors down the street to another hotel if you wanted something to eat in the morning or at lunch. Not fun when it is cold and snowing outside! The pizza place was good, but didn't open until 5:00.

Good value and location, spacious room, limited amenities
We stayed at the Banff Inn for a 9-night ski break, travelling from the UK. We had a spacious room with 2 comfortable queen beds. Was in good order and had a fridge.
The Inn itself had limited other amenities - a restaurant that largely served bland pizza, and a spa which was OK (steam room wasn’t always working tho) but had odd changing facilities. There was no working bar, and hardly any communal spaces. There was also no breakfast offering at all. Luckily the Inn was a 10-15 min walk into central Banff where there were mu h nicer options. The Fox hotel next door had a nice bar and was doing happy hour from 3-5 with some decent cocktails. Overall the Banff Inn was a decent choice for our needs, and staff were helpful/friendly but I would probably choose an alternative next time given the limited facilities.

Hôtel was excellent and staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. My only (minor) issue was that the recycling options in the room could have been more clearly marked.
We will definitely return.

A comfortable home away from home

The room was spacious, and facilities maintained at a high standard. The staff were incredibly friendly and always sought to improve my stay in any way they could. I had originally booked 3 nights and needed to extend for 2 more at a moments notice. Staff were not only able to do so with minimal fuss, but also at a generously discounted price.
