Best of the bunch! Crème de la crème! Das Beste vom Besten! El mejor! ❤

The Gasthof Jägerwirt in Lengau serves the best Austrian cuisine.
They partner with top-quality regional providers (brewery, butcher, bakery, etc.)
The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The Menu is extensive and seasonal.
The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Cozy beer garden. Premises are super clean. Family oriented business. Owners are great people!
Staff and service above average! Famous for serving the Best Beef Tartare in town!
Other recommendations: Wiener schnitzel, Kasnocken, Cordon Bleu, Wiener Backhendl, Bären Burger.

Overpriced and disgusting | here is overpriced for poor performances and the guest is left behind

Toilets and bathrooms disgusting and very old, staff behaves like everything is fine and ignores the guest. The traces of the previous user are still visible in the rooms and toilets, reception unoccupied during the day and the room keys are therefore hidden behind brochure racks on arrival, far overpriced room prices, breakfast below average, old screeching mattresses, shower drips again and again at night, we were offered a dirty musty family room as a couple although more rooms were available for couples, very bad experience.

Excellent as ever

The restaurant at this hotel has the most amazing food , the setting in the lovely town of Lengau a 40 min drive from Salzburg and as for the food. Not only a great menu but the quality of the food and the service is second to none. If your are ever close this would be a fantastic lunch stop off.

Traditional atmosphere, great service and delicious food

I came here with my family for a proper Sunday lunch and it was delicious. The quality of the food is stunning. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive, even though there was a celebration in their festival hall we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Can’t wait to go there again to have great local food again – keep up the good work.

Business trip

Lovely Hotel(gasthof)!
Had a 10 days job in Austria and decided to stop there. Nice and friendly personnel and service. I am a bit fickle abput breakfast but here it was one of the best I ever had!
Wireless is only in forst floor but you can use cable connection as well!
