Very nice hotel with greyish coffee
Checking in and out was hassle-free and very fast. The parking fee of 2.-€ per day in the hotel's own parking lot great.
Nice and clean the room, the beds a bit too soft for our taste, but still slept well.
A typical hotel breakfast was available at a moderate price. The only thing that cost the last star was the coffee.
For a coffee junkie like me, the drink from the coffee dispenser was comparable in taste to instant powder.

Worst experience in Oschatz
We arrived there after a 5 hour drive on 26.07.2024 20:50h.
At Check In, the first thing my wife was presented with was the bill.
After the key handover we had another drink in the restaurant. Until then, joy.
We then went with our luggage to the room (incubator) tried to turn on the air conditioning. I couldn't.
So my wife made her way to reception.
She cited the lack of air conditioning there.
Then she got the following answer "Oh the air conditioning is broken is known. Ventilate properly by the look on his face this gentleman realized that was the wrong answer and gave my wife a fan in room"
After the question that this air conditioner costs extra in the booking price main house was given your following answer we will give you an email address there Write to then you will probably get money back.
So we spent the 2 nights with all the windows open and the fan buzzing. Was very relaxing!
Now the No Go experience in the restaurant on 27.07.2024 19:50 h we asked the waiter for a table this looked at us in amazement and told us that all the tables which were free were reserved and we should come again in 30 minutes. Whatever we did friendly greeted us the same waiter oh yes you wanted to come again and offered us one of these reserved tables.
All other table reservations were also unoccupied. After about ten minutes waiting we ordered a small and a large black beer and asked for food as we had not received a menu so far. Have we approached another guest and received a card from him. What came next sounds like a nightmare. This waiter told us "Yes but she's breaking up 21:00h so he can only offer us starters" we ordered seasoned meat twice.
After 1.5 minutes came once seasoned meat with the remark I have conjured the other is still to come. So far nothing of the drinks ordered.
After another wait of 10 minutes we asked a colleague if she could bring us a small and a large black beer. Amazingly quickly she then arrived with wrong drinks apologized and disappeared.
At the other table, the guests were now given their main courses and the guest asked for his spiced meat ordered 30 minutes ago Answer Oh the colleague probably forgot. I could have told Him who ate this seasoning even though it was cold. Now oh joy came the second seasoning very hot was also fresh but drinks zero.
After ordering again we were lucky to have got the drinks.
I wouldn't recommend this house to my worst enemy.
