Great stay in renovated rooms

Hotel has just been renovated. New rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Felt very welcome. There’s still some renovation being done downstairs but that wasn’t a bother at all. Also great location with loads of parking space. Would really recommend staying here!

nous avons juste visiter le restaurant en terrasse.bon accueil ,personnel sympa mais les plats pas terribles du tout! les sauces pas faites maison et les schnitzels vraiment pas bon sûrement surgelé!je ne recommande pas ce restaurant!

Freundliche Bedienung - Nette Terasse

Wir kehrten ein, weil meine Frau bei lesen der Karte an der Straße Appetit auf Flammkuchen bekam. Das Restaurant ist, entsprechend dem Ambiente von Altenahr relativ alt, aber sauber. Wir gingen durchs Lokal auf die Terasse. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten je ein Glas Wein, meine Frau „ihren“ Flammkuchen, und ich aß als Zwischenmahlzeit Bratkartoffeln mit Sülze. Meine Frau äußerte einen Flammkuchen - Sonderwunsch, den sie prompt und ohne Probleme bekam. Die Sülze war sehr gut. Ok, die Bratkartoffeln hätten noch „2 Minuten“ Pfanne vertragen können. Aber dies ist ja auch Auffassungs- und Geschmacksache. Ich denke, daß ein „Sehr gut“ absolut ok ist.

Mittagessen im Rittersprung

Wir kehrten hier mit 10 Personen an einem schönen Herbsttag ein. Der erste Eindruck entspricht dem Gesamteindruck des Orts Altenahr - ALT. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, aber leider nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Hier und da dürfte die altbackene Deko gerne gegen ein paar neue Akzente ausgetauscht werden.
Das Speisenangebot war überschaubar, aber es hat dann doch jeder schnell das passende gefunden. Wartezeiten kurz, Flammkuchen lecker, die medium bestellten Steaks kamen allerdings ziemlich durch gebraten zum Tisch. Geschmacklich alles soweit ok.
Der Service war etwas reserviert aber freundlich und aufmerksam.
Zentrale Lage mitten im Ortskern und durchgehend warme Küche.

Lawaaierige straat.

Ontvangst en bediening erg oppervlakkig, bijna nonchalant. We kregen een ruime kamer maar aan de straatkant. Met gevolg veel verkeerslawaai. Het is een erg toeristisch plaatsje met de nodige drukte. Ontbijt stelde niet zoveel voor. Synthetische dekbedden, ook niet echt geweldig......
